Christian Pichler
- Founder/Executive Producer
Christian Pichler is the founder and principal partner of the Motion Picture Alliance. Originally from Austria, he has successfully worked in Hollywood and around the globe on independent and corporate motion pictures. He oversees the Motion Picture Alliance's activities in world-wide acquisition, production and financing and stays involved in the creative process of most films produced by the Alliance.
Alan Scott
- Co-Founder/Producer/Writer
Alan Scott co-founded the Motion Picture Alliance in 2008. He has taken several ProSeries screenwriting and rewriting courses with producer, Hal Croasmun, and completed a Raindance producer's diploma. He not only writes for the MPA, but manages its project slate as a script developer. Aside from also overseeing the MPA's general business, he works closely with staff writers to ensure development is of the highest quality. Previously, he spent over three years as a producer and script editor for Raging Psycho Comic's Night Warrior
Don Macnab-Stark
- Co-Founder/Producer/Writer
A resident of England, Don MacNab-Stark has a Master's Degree in screenwriting from Bournemouth University Media School, and has written both feature and documentary scripts. His previous roles include CEO of a large charity, and business manager of a US law firm. Don MacNab-Stark's role at MPA involves overseeing the business side of the operation, and script development.
Paul Burke
- Co-Founder/Writer
Paul Burke graduated from the University of Essex in England with a degree in Film Studies and Literature. From 2003 onwards, he has been writing comic books for both the web and print.
He has worked with the UK Film Council on their Digital Shorts scheme, where he gained professional experience in writing for film.
Paul Burke is working at a conceptual level on MPA features, developing new ideas for production and contributing to the MPA business foundation, including community development and web presence.
David Wharton ::
- Direction/Development
David is on board as a film and artistic director for the MPA, utilising his visual and story telling background. He started out serving his apprenticeship in the camera department working on television and film scripts and slowly worked his way up to director. This long apprenticeship has given him a vast understanding of the film production and post production process. David believes in the human story first and foremost. As well as a film background, David started out in photography which gives him a real sense of the moment - to which film is a natural extension.
